What are trays?

Plastic trays are shallow, open-top polypropylene (PP) containers used to hold, drain, dry or move product in a single layer. This line centres on perforated copolymer-PP drying and curing trays — flat, ventilated trays whose open base and side holes let air pass through so fruit, herbs, mushrooms, seafood and similar goods dehydrate evenly — plus perforated square sieve/colander trays for washing, rinsing and draining. Solid and food-grade shallow trays for stacking, sorting and picking are also stocked. All are moulded from food-contact-safe PP, are stackable, and wash down easily.

What is the minimum order for plastic trays?

Minimum order is typically one full container load (1 FCL); the exact per-product MOQ is confirmed when you apply for trade access. Because trays are shallow and nest or stack tightly, a single container carries a very high unit count — the per-tray landed cost drops sharply at container volume.

How much do these trays cost?

Specifications, dimensions and CBM are public. Wholesale pricing and a landed CIF estimate unlock when you log in as an approved trade buyer. Trays are priced per unit at container volume, and pricing depends on tray size, wall thickness and whether the pattern is perforated or solid.

Are the drying trays food-grade and safe for food contact?

Yes. The drying, curing and sieve trays are moulded from food-contact-safe copolymer polypropylene (PP), which is a standard food-processing material and easy to wash and sanitise between batches. Where a specific food-safety certificate (for example FDA or LFGB) is required for your import market, the applicable documentation is confirmed on quote.

Why choose a perforated drying tray over a solid one?

Perforated trays have an open, holed base and sides so air moves through the product from all directions, giving faster, more even drying and curing than a solid tray and letting rinse water drain freely. Choose perforated for dehydration, curing, washing and draining; choose a solid food-grade shallow tray when you need to hold liquids or fine product without leakage.

What sizes and hole patterns are available?

The line runs from small perforated square sieve/colander trays (roughly 310×225 and 350×250mm) up to a large 475×445mm perforated drying/curing tray, plus solid food-grade shallow trays around 565–660mm long. How many trays fit in a shipping container?

A 40' high-cube container offers about 76.3 m³ of usable volume; we estimate units per container from each product's CBM at roughly 85% stow efficiency, or use the supplier-stated figure where available.
